Pressure Welded Screens

The production of pressure welded screens is based on electric resistance welding method through welding of simple and specially profiled wire. They are vibration resistant with big clearance and extended life. They are used in sifters with circular and straight vibration trajectory.

With pressure-welded screens for both side tensioning as well as for end tensioning machines thetop wires are usually parallel to material flow. With the end tensioning screens the lower wires are therefore parallel to the supports and may present difficulties during fitting. It is recommended to order such screens with free areas (1) or with under welded flat bars (2) in the support positions.

Apertures available from 7.0 mm (square or rectangular mesh) with wire diameters ranging from 4.0mm. Available materials include manganese steel (patent), medium carbon steel and chromium-nickel steel.
