Mechanical engineer
We have a requirement for a Mechanical Engineer with both a mechanical and electrical background to join our existing team. Working in a busy manufacturing environment, the successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Understanding customer requirements to provide design solutions and associated costs.
- Creation of 2D drawings to allow our sales team to fulfil customer demand.
- Supporting manufacturing equipment through effective maintenance, hands on problem solving and breakdown support.
- Working closely with vendors to source replacement components for our manufacturing equipment.
- AutoCAD and welding experience would be essential.

General Operative
Aughey Screens Ltd are now recruiting for a full time General Operative person to join our team at our factory in Monaghan town with an immediate start. This position has excellent working hours.
The successful candidate will be working as part of a team. Having a forklift licence, welding skills and working with steel are all advantages but not essential as full training will be given.
